What is Homebound Delivery?

- Be a resident of Clifton Springs
- Have or obtain an OWWL library cardholder
- Unable to travel to the library due to age, long-term illness, injury, or disability
Materials available for delivery include:
- Books
- Magazines
- DVDs
- Music CDs
- Books on CD
- Puzzles
How does this service work?
Patrons can choose to have materials delivered and picked-up once or twice a month. Generally, delivery/pick-up will be the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Reminder calls will be made one business day prior to delivery/pick-up.
Patrons can choose titles and submit requests to the library’s Outreach Coordinator. Patrons can also choose to have their library materials selected for them by indicating preferences on the application.
Library materials must be returned or renewed according assigned due dates to continue participation in Homebound Delivery. Renewals are possible as long as the items are not on hold for another patron.
Materials will be delivered by library staff or volunteers. Library staff/volunteers cannot enter homes during delivery/pick-up. If a patron is unable to answer the door, items will be left in a waterproof bag at the front door.
